Signal Conditioner with Trip Amplifier.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The DAT 5028 is a Signal Conditioner with 4 relay outputs (Trip Amplifier).
The DAT5028 Signal Conditioner also converts thermocouples, RTD's, potentiometers, voltage or current input to either a voltage 0-5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA, 0-20mA output.
With the aid of the local display each trip point can be set by using the switches on the front panel.
The current input, output can be passive or active loop.
The isolation between input signal, output signal, power supply and contacts of relays is 1500 Vac. The isolation eliminates the effects of all ground loops existing and allows the use of the converter in heavy environmental conditions found in industrial applications.
The DAT 5028 is in compliance with the standard 89/336/EEC on the Electromagnetic Compatibility. It is housed in a plastic enclosure of 20.5 mm thickness suitable for DIN rail mounting in compliance with EN-50022 and EN-50035 standards.
