General Description

The DAT7014 accepts inputs from RTDs (PT100, PT1000), resistors, and potentiometers. The analog signal is converted into 16-bit digital data and transmitted over the CANopen (CAN bus) protocol for reliable communication in distributed automation systems.

Fully compliant with CiA DS 301 and CiA DS 401 standards, the DAT7014 can interface directly with any CAN controllers supporting these specifications, ensuring easy integration with other devices on a CANopen network.

Configuration is straightforward: the baud rate and node ID are programmable via DIP switches located on the side of the enclosure. Designed for DIN rail mounting, the 22.5 mm housing features plug-in terminals that allow hot swapping of the device without rewiring. For maximum reliability, the DAT7014 provides galvanic isolation up to 2000 Vac for 1 minute between the input, CANopen network, and power supply.
