Range of Signal Isolators.
Datexel manufactures a wide range of signal isolators for industrial applications.

The DAT511 is a 2-wire, loop-powered signal isolator offering 3000 V galvanic isolation between input and output. No external power wiring is required.

The DAT511H is a HART-compatible version of the DAT511, maintaining the same isolation level and loop-powered design.

The DAT4535 is a universal input signal conditioner accepting thermocouples, RTDs, mV, volts, mA, resistance, and potentiometers. It provides 2000 V isolation and is PC programmable. This model is loop-powered (2-wire).

The DAT4235 offers similar capabilities but uses a 4-wire design, allowing for boosted or voltage outputs.

The DAT4531D is a 4-wire isolated signal transmitter that accepts voltage or current inputs and provides voltage or current outputs. It is configurable via DIP switches or PC software.

The DAT4532D is a dual-channel version of the DAT4531D, ideal for space-saving installations.

The DAT4530 functions as both a signal splitter and universal input conditioner, offering voltage and current outputs. It is also DIP switch and PC programmable.

The DAT1065 is a head-mounted temperature transmitter with galvanic isolation. It accepts thermocouples, RTDs, mV, potentiometers, and resistors, and outputs a 4-20 mA signal (reversible to 20-4 mA). Configuration is done via PC software.

Frequently Asked Questions – Signal Isolators

A signal isolator is a device used to transfer analog or digital signals while providing electrical isolation between input, output, and power circuits. This helps prevent ground loops and protects equipment from voltage surges.

2-wire isolators are loop-powered and draw their power from the current loop, whereas 4-wire isolators are externally powered and can provide higher output drive or voltage outputs.

Loop-powered isolators, like the DAT511, are used in applications where minimal wiring is preferred. They isolate and retransmit 4-20mA signals using only the existing current loop for power.

Yes, many Datexel isolators such as the DAT4535, DAT4235, and DAT4530 are PC programmable or DIP switch configurable, allowing for flexible signal input and output scaling.

Datexel isolators offer high galvanic isolation levels, typically 2000 V to 3000 V, between input, output, and power supply to ensure safety and signal integrity.
