General Description

The DAT7016 accept inputs from up to 4 Thermocouples or mV. All standard types of thermocouples are acceptable. The analog signal is converted to 16 Bit data and Transmitter by the CANopen protocol.
The DAT7016 is compliant with CiA DS 301 and CiA DS 401 and can interface directly with the CAN Controllers that accept CiA DS 301 and CiA DS 401 Standards.
The Baud rate and the ID can be programmed by DIP switches positioned on the side of the enclosure. The Enclosure is DIN rail mounted and is 22.5 mm thick. The terminals are plug in so the device can be hot swapped. The DAT7016 is isolated up to 2000 Vac for 1 minute between the Input, CANopen network and the power supply.
