General Description

The DAT5023V DC Voltage Transmitter is designed to measure DC voltage signals and convert them into a proportional DC current or voltage output. It is widely used in industrial automation to interface DC measurement points with PLCs, SCADA systems, and monitoring equipment.

Input and output ranges are programmable via DIP switches located on the side of the device. Fine calibration is easily performed using the ZERO and SPAN potentiometers located on the top, allowing precise adjustment to meet application requirements.

The DAT5023V offers 0.1% full-scale accuracy and excellent stability, with a thermal drift of less than 0.01% per °F. It provides 1500 VDC galvanic isolation between input, output, and power supply, eliminating ground loop effects and ensuring reliable operation in harsh industrial environments.

Unlike many basic converters, the DAT5023V includes an integrated output-side power supply, enabling it to drive both active and passive loads. This enhances flexibility in applications where multiple output devices may be connected.

The device complies with EMC Directive 89/336/CEE and is housed in a 27.5 mm DIN rail enclosure in accordance with EN-50022 and EN-50035 standards. Compact, rugged, and configurable, the DAT5023V is a reliable solution for DC voltage signal conversion and isolation.
