General Description

The DAT3140 Modbus Digital I/O Module provides 4 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs, controllable via Modbus RTU or Modbus ASCII over RS-485. It is designed for industrial automation systems requiring both digital input monitoring and output control.

The digital inputs detect ON states between 10 and 30 VDC and OFF states below 3 VDC. The digital outputs can switch up to 30 VDC, with a maximum load of 0.6 A per channel and a total maximum of 3 A per module.

The inputs and outputs are isolated from each other up to 1000 Vac. The RS-485 serial port and power supply are isolated up to 2000 Vac for 1 minute, ensuring safe and reliable operation in harsh environments. The DAT3140 operates from a 10–30 VDC power supply and is designed for DIN rail mounting.
