General Description

The DAT1015-OEM is a versatile OEM temperature transmitter PCB board, engineered to fit into compact enclosures. This transmitter supports a wide range of input signals, including RTDs, thermocouples, mV, resistance, and potentiometers, and converts them into a standard 4-20mA output.

Key Features:

  • Pre-programmable: Can be pre-configured to customer specifications, or supplied with a connector for user configuration via the Prodat programmer and Prosoft software from Datexel.
  • Wide Sensor Compatibility: Accepts various sensor inputs:
    • RTDs: Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100, Ni1000
    • Thermocouples: Types J, K, T, E, N, R, S, and B
    • Resistance: Selectable ranges of 0-200 Ohms, 0-500 Ohms, and 0-2000 Ohms
    • mV Input: Ranges from -100mV to 700mV, with a minimum span of 2mV
    • Potentiometers: Resistance ranges of 0-200 Ohms, 200-500 Ohms, and 0.5 to 2 kOhms
  • Configurable Accuracy: RTD and resistance inputs can be set up for 2-wire configurations or use compensation wires for enhanced accuracy (3-wire or 4-wire setups).
  • Burnout Alarm: Programmable burnout failure alarm can be set to signal high (20mA) or low (4mA).
  • Power Supply Tolerance: Operates within a voltage range of 10 to 32 Volts, ensuring robust performance in varied conditions.
  • Loop-Powered Design: Operates as a 2-wire device, simplifying installation and operation.

The DAT1015-OEM combines flexibility with precision, making it an ideal choice for applications requiring reliable temperature measurements in constrained spaces.
