General Description

The DAT3028 Modbus to Voltage Output Converter is an 8-channel module designed to convert Modbus RTU/ASCII commands into isolated voltage signals. It is ideal for applications where digital Modbus communication needs to control voltage-driven devices such as actuators, regulators, or indicators.

Each output channel can be configured for 0–10 V, 1–5 V, or 2–10 V, allowing flexible integration into industrial control systems. The outputs are fully galvanically isolated from the Modbus communication line and the power supply, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

The slew rate is adjustable, enabling users to fine-tune the output response time. In addition to Modbus RTU over RS-485, the DAT3028 is also available in an RS-232 Modbus ASCII version for serial communication.
