General Description

The DAT3011 Signal Conditioning Modbus RTU Module is a multifunction signal converter that combines universal analog inputs, analog outputs, and digital I/O with an RS-485 Modbus RTU slave interface. It acquires signals from thermocouples, RTDs, resistance, mA, volts/mV, and potentiometers and can retransmit them while publishing data to a Modbus network.

I/O summary: 2 analog inputs, 3 digital inputs (up to 3 kHz), 2 analog outputs, 1 SSR (digital) output, and 2 relay outputs. The analog outputs can be used for signal retransmission (e.g., 4–20 mA) in parallel with Modbus data transfer.

The DAT3011 can be configured to operate as a signal converter, signal splitter, trip amplifier (limit alarm), or a dual signal conditioner, providing exceptional flexibility for process control and monitoring.

It features 1500 Vac galvanic isolation between inputs, outputs, power supply, and RS-485 port, and uses a 16-bit conversion architecture for accurate measurement and stable performance in industrial environments.
