General Description

The DAT4631D is a DIN rail mount isolated signal converter and splitter designed for accurate measurement and duplication of DC voltage or current (mA) signals. It accepts a single analog input and provides two independent and isolated analog outputs, either in voltage or current format. The device linearizes the signal and ensures high signal integrity through 1500 Vac galvanic isolation. Configuration is quick and flexible via PC software or onboard DIP switches.

Key Features

  • Signal Splitting Function: Converts a single voltage or current input into two identical and isolated outputs.
  • Voltage Input Compatibility: Accepts 0-10V, 1-5V, 2-10V, 0-5V, and other common DC voltage signals.
  • Current Input Capability: Supports 4-20mA, 0-20mA, and other mA inputs with a minimum span of 1 mA.
  • Linearized Analog Outputs: Provides precise and linear voltage or current outputs per channel.
  • Dual Output Configuration: Each output is individually isolated from the other and the input circuit.
  • High Accuracy: Optimized for demanding industrial and process control applications.
  • Fully Isolated: 1500 Vac isolation between input, each output, and power supply for maximum safety.
  • Programmable via PC or DIP Switches: Easily configured for specific ranges and applications.

The DAT4631D is ideal for applications where a DC signal from a sensor, transmitter, or PLC must be sent to two different systems simultaneously. Its splitter functionality is commonly used in redundant control loops, signal monitoring, and logging systems while maintaining isolation and accuracy.
