The DAT10017-I 4–20 mA to Modbus RTU Converter is an 8-channel input module designed for acquiring current signals and making them available on a Modbus RTU or ASCII network. It supports 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA, and ±20 mA input ranges, making it suitable for a wide variety of industrial transmitters and sensors.
The device provides three-way galvanic isolation between input, output, and power supply, ensuring safe and reliable operation in harsh industrial environments. It supports both Modbus RTU and Modbus ASCII protocols at baud rates up to 115.2 kbps.
Configuration can be performed using DIP switches for quick setup or via PC software for advanced programming. Local LED indicators show power and communication status, simplifying installation and diagnostics.
