mA and Current Limit Alarm.

The DAT5024E1 is a mA Limit Alarm. It can accept a mA or Voltage signal. The inputs are selectable by the use of DIP Switches on the side of the DAT5024E1. On the Current input there is an option to use the auxiliary power supply so both active and passive signals can be used.

The Threshold 1 is programmed as high alarm, while, by dip-switches, it is possible to set the Threshold 2 either as high or low alarm. The trip level of each threshold can be adjusted by the potentiometers and checked by the test-points located on the front of the device. It is possible to adjust the values of the hysteresis level and delay time by potentiometers .

The DAT5024E1 has isolation between the coil and the contacts of 1000Vac and Isolation between the contacts of 1000 Vac. The isolation between the Process input and the power supply is 1500 Vac.
The isolation eliminates the effects of ground loops and provides better protection in industrial applications. The DAT5024E-1 is in compliance with the standard 89/336/EEC on the Electromagnetic Compatibility. It is housed in a plastic enclosure of 20.5 mm thickness suitable for DIN rail mounting in compliance with EN-50022 and EN-50035 standards.
