General Description

The DAT5025 Strain Gauge Converter is designed to provide a linear, proportional voltage or current output based on the input signal from a strain gauge or bridge transducer. It is ideal for applications requiring accurate load, pressure, or force measurement in industrial environments.

The device allows users to configure the bridge excitation voltage, input range, and output range via DIP switches located on the side. Fine adjustments of ZERO and SPAN are carried out using the front-mounted potentiometers for precise calibration.

With 2000 VAC galvanic isolation between input, output, and power supply, the DAT5025 eliminates ground loops and ensures reliable performance even in harsh environments. It also provides an auxiliary supply on the output side, allowing connection of both active and passive loads.

The DAT5025 complies with EMC Directive 89/336/EEC and is housed in a compact 12.5 mm DIN rail enclosure (EN-50022 and EN-50035), making it a space-saving and robust solution for signal conditioning with strain gauge sensors.
